Art Classes + Coaching
At Cherry Road Art Studio, we run a range of courses to suit all interests and levels. Whether you’re interested in a small group workshop or developing your existing skills, artist-in-residence Pat creates a relaxed and friendly studio atmosphere, and helps you to gain confidence in your ability to be creative and make art.
Please note: Cherry Road Art Studio offers classes in a comfortable, safe and supportive environment - but we don’t have everything you need. Our classes are interactive and you may get dirty, so please wear appropriate clothes or a covering. For safety you must wear closed-in footwear to all classes - no thongs or sandals. If you think you may need gloves to protect your hands, please bring a pair with you.

Wednesday Art Class
Wednesday Art Class supports beginners and offers extended study to experienced artists in a comfortable and supportive environment. We explore a range of topics and each student develops through an individual, personalised program.
Wednesdays, 9:30am to 11:30am

Soft Sandstone Carving
A half day workshop where you will learn to make soft sandstone, and then develop your creativity in 3D through carving. Materials, tuition, safe practices and use of tools are included. This class is suitable for beginners but also offers a challenge to more experienced artists

Price: $70 including materials + tools, extra blocks may be purchased for $20.

Creative Fibres
Discover the versatility of fibre as you explore a variety of techniques in this introductory workshop. From spinning your own yarn to weaving intricate patterns and crocheting unique creations, you'll gain hands-on experience with fibre art in a warm and welcoming environment.

Drawing for Beginners
This workshop is designed for those who want to explore their creativity and learn the fundamentals of drawing. For beginners to more experienced artists, this class will provide you with the tools and techniques to develop your drawing skills. We'll cover a range of topics and easy guided exercises, and Pat will encourage you to experiment with different styles and subjects.
